Picasso and Miró: Largest Exhibit Of Classical Art in The UAE Unveiled
For the first time ever in the UAE, Alpha Soul will host an exhibition comprising over 267 pieces of artwork from renowned artists Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró entitled Picasso and Miró, Passion and Poetry. You’ll want to secure your tickets today for this unprecedented cultural event!
With pieces sourced from a number of private collections around the world, the exhibition will explore the intertwining lives and work of Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró through a series of original lithographs, ceramics and graphics specifically coordinated to flow through this enchanting narrative. The exhibition will commence with a section titled Creators of Myth and continues on to investigate the works of Picasso and Miró in chronological order with sections titled: Inventors of New Languages, Jugglers of Form, Poets of Color and Alchemists of Art.
Alpha Soul is encouraging schools to register for 75 minute private tours and art classes, which will take place from 8am to noon Sunday through Thursday.
“We believe that art is a universal language and that it will speak to each and every person that visits this exhibit and hopefully open their minds to other ways of viewing the world. This is especially true of young minds that are still in the process of being shaped and molded,” continued Khalid Alhalyan, Co-Founder of Alpha Soul.
Commencing on 3 March 2016, the Exhibition will be held at the Burj Khalifa, Annex One with the support of Burj Khalifa and Emmar. It will be open to the public from 7 March to 17 May 2016 from noon to 10pm. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Al Noor Training Centre for children with special needs.
